Sweet, grilled watermelon and tart lime meet for the perfect summertime sip. Blended together with our Smoked Simple Syrup, ice, and soda water, this punch will be the talk of the BBQ.

3/8 Cup | olive oil |
To Taste | salt and pepper |
1/4 Cup | Traeger Smoked Simple Syrup |
4 Whole | lime, juiced |
As Needed | soda water |
As Needed | lime wedge, for garnish |

When ready to cook, start your Traeger according to grill instructions. Turn temperature to 450 degrees F (set to 500 degrees F if using a WiFIRE-enabled grill) and preheat, lid closed, for 10 - 15 minutes.

Drizzle watermelon slices with olive oil and season with salt. Place directly on the grill grate and cook 10 minutes or until grill marks develop.

Remove from grill and place in the refrigerator to cool. Trim skin from all watermelon except for 2 slices which should be reserved for garnish.

Transfer trimmed watermelon to a blender and add lime juice and Traeger Smoked Simple Syrup. Puree until smooth.

Pour watermelon juice into a pitcher and add ice. Fill with soda water and stir.

Serve in a Collins glass with a lime slice and watermelon slice for garnish. Enjoy!
