Glaze grapefruit halves with Traeger Smoked Simple Syrup and cinnamon and grill to caramelized perfection for a cocktail mixer you won't want to mess with.

1/2 Teaspoon | ground cinnamon |
1 1/2 Ounce | reposado tequila |
1/2 Ounce | lime juice |

When ready to cook, set temperature to 350℉ and preheat, lid closed 15 minutes.

For the Grilled Grapefruit Juice: Cut the 2 grapefruits in half. Glaze cut sides with Traeger Smoked Simple Syrup and dust with ground cinnamon. Place grapefruits cut side down on grill grate and cook for 20 minutes or until edges start to burn and it acquires grill marks. Remove from heat and let cool.

After grapefruits have cooled, squeeze and strain the juice. It should yield 10-12 oz of juice.

For the Cocktail: In a mixing glass combine tequila, lime juice, Traeger Smoked Simple Syrup and 2 oz of the grilled grapefruit juice.

Add ice and shake. Strain over ice in an old fashioned glass. Add grilled lime slice and cinnamon stick for garnish. Enjoy!
