Say goodbye to store-bought and hello to homemade. Protein bars don't get any sweeter than this; oats, cherries, honey, and a little vanilla make these bars go the distance.

2 Cupfrozen sweet cherries, thawed and drained
1 CupApricots, Frozen
1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
2 Tablespoonhoney
1 Teaspoonvanilla extract
1 Cuprolled oats

Steps

  • Step 1

    When ready to cook, set the Traeger to 350℉ and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.

    350 ˚F / 177 ˚C

  • Step 2

    In the bowl of a food processor, add cherries, apricots (revived in hot water for 5 minutes and drained), vanilla protein powder, honey, and vanilla. Pulse about 10 to 15 times, to break the fruit into smaller pieces and to mix all ingredients.

    Ingredients
    • 2 Cup frozen sweet cherries, thawed and drained

    • 1 Cup Apricots, Frozen

    • 1  Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder

    • 2 Tablespoon honey

    • 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Step 3

    In a separate bowl, fold together oats and fruit mixture. Transfer mixture to a loaf pan or silicone mold and place in grill.

    Ingredients
    • 1 Cup rolled oats

  • Step 4

    Bake for approximately 20 to 25 minutes.

    Let cool completely and cut into 8 pieces. Enjoy!
