Place cinnamon sticks in grapefruit halves, glaze with Traeger Simple Syrup and grill to caramelized perfection for a cocktail mixer you won't want to mess with.

2 | grapefruit, halved |
1/2 Ounce | smoked simple syrup (homemade or store-bought) |
5 Stick | cinnamon |
1 1/2 Ounce | reposado tequila |
1/2 Ounce | lime juice |

When ready to cook, set Traeger temperature to 350°F and preheat with the lid closed for 15 minutes.

Grilled Grapefruit Juice: Cut 2 grapefruits in half. Place a cinnamon stick in each grapefruit half and glaze with Traeger Smoked Simple Syrup. Place on the grill grate and cook for 20 minutes or until edges start to burn and it acquires grill marks. Remove from heat and let cool.

After grapefruits have cooled, squeeze and strain juice. It should yield 10 to 12 ounces of juice.

In a mixing glass, add tequila, lime juice, Traeger Smoked Simple Syrup and 2 ounces of the grilled grapefruit juice.

Add ice and shake. Strain over ice in an old fashioned glass.

Add a grilled lime slice and cinnamon stick to garnish. Enjoy!
