1 | (20 oz) boneless strip steak or rib steak, butterflied into heart shape |
2 Teaspoon | Jacobsen Salt Co. Pure Kosher Sea Salt |
2 Teaspoon | freshly cracked black pepper |
2 Tablespoon | finely chopped raw dark chocolate |
1/2 Tablespoon | olive oil |
Step 1
Draw a large heart on a piece of cardboard, shaped to the size of meat selected. Cut out a cardboard heart shape, then trim meat into a heart shape.

Step 2
Combine all ingredients on the cut steak.

2 Teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
2 Tablespoon finely chopped raw dark chocolate
1/2 Tablespoon olive oil
Step 3
When ready to cook, set Traeger temperature to 500°F and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.

Step 4
Grill steak for 5 to 7 minutes per side, or until you’ve reached desired doneness. Remove from grill. Let rest for 5 minutes. Enjoy!
