This dynamic duo makes a refreshing centerpiece to any barbecue, potluck, or summer dinner. Bold and spicy sausage paired with sweet grilled shrimp is a match made in BBQ heaven.

1/2 Cupapple cider vinegar
1 Teaspoondijon mustard
1 Teaspoononion powder
2 Clovegarlic, minced
3 Tablespoonhoney
1 Teaspoondried thyme
To Tastesalt

1/4 CupCanola oil
1 Pound(21/25ct) shrimp, cleaned, peeled, & deveined
8 spicy sausage links, smoked

Steps

  • Step 1

    In a medium bowl, add the vinegar, mustard, onion powder, garlic, honey, thyme, salt, pepper, and canola oil. Stir to combine. Add the shrimp and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to marinate.

    Ingredients
    • 1/2 Cup apple cider vinegar

    • 1 Teaspoon dijon mustard

    • 1 Teaspoon onion powder

    • 2 Clove garlic, minced

    • 3 Tablespoon honey

    • 1 Teaspoon dried thyme

    • To Taste salt

    • To Taste pepper

    • 1/4 Cup Canola oil

    • 1 Pound (21/25ct) shrimp, cleaned, peeled, & deveined

  • Step 2

    Cut the sausage links in half length-wise, and then cut into 2-inch-pieces.

    Ingredients
    • 8  spicy sausage links, smoked

  • Step 3

    When ready to cook, set the Traeger temperature to 450°F and preheat with the lid closed for 15 minutes.

    450 ˚F / 232 ˚C

  • Step 4

    Assemble the skewers. Alternate the sausage and shrimp on the skewers, 2 shrimp, and 3 sausage pieces per skewer.

  • Step 5

    Place the skewers directly on the grill grates. Close the lid and cook for 8-10 minutes, until the shrimp is opaque and fully cooked, and sausage is heated through.

    Remove the skewers from the grill and serve warm. Enjoy!
