When ready to cook, set the Traeger temperature to 450°F and preheat with the lid closed for 15 minutes.

Toss the sweet potato slices with the olive oil until well coated.

Arrange the sweet potatoes in a single layer in a grill basket or directly on the grill grates. Season with salt. Close the lid and cook for 5 minutes, then flip, season with salt, and cook until tender and starting to crisp, 3-5 minutes more. Transfer to a paper towel to drain.
