Steps

  • Step 1

    When ready to cook, start the Traeger grill, set the temperature to 375 degrees F and preheat, lid closed, for 10 to 15 minutes.

  • Step 2

    While grill is preheating, dry off chicken wings with a paper towel. Mix the Traeger Chicken rub with the cornstarch and coat both sides of the chicken wings.

    • 2 Tablespoon cornstarch

  • Step 3

    When the grill is heated, place the wings on the grill for 35 minutes flipping half way through.

  • Step 4

    While the wings are cooking, mix the honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, sesame seed oil, and unsalted butter and heat on a stove top.

    • 1 Cup honey

    • 1 Cup Sriracha

    • 1/2 Cup soy sauce

    • 2 Tablespoon sesame oil

    • 3 Tablespoon unsalted butter

  • Step 5

    After the wings have cooked for 35 minutes, check the temperature. The minimum temperature must reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees F. An internal temperature between 175 to 180 degrees F may yield a better texture.

  • Step 6

    When wings are done, place in large bowl and toss with the warmed sauce.

  • Step 7

    Place wings on platter and sprinkle the sesame seeds. Enjoy!
