Pour up some smoky and fruity flavor with Traeger’s Smoked Sangria recipe. Start by smoking Grand Marnier, simple syrup and cranberries directly on the grill grate. Then add apples, limes and cinnamon sticks with red wine to bring it all together.

1 Bottle | (750 ml) medium-bodied red wine |
1/4 Cup | Grand Marnier |
1/4 Cup | smoked simple syrup (homemade or store-bought) |
1 Cup | fresh cranberries |
1 Whole | apple, sliced |
2 Whole | limes, sliced |
4 Whole | cinnamon sticks |
As Needed | soda water |

When ready to cook, set Traeger temperature to 180℉ and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes. For optimal flavor, use Super Smoke if available.

In a shallow dish, combine red wine, Grand Marnier, Traeger Smoked Simple Syrup, and cranberries, and place directly on the grill grate.

Smoke for 30 to 45 minutes or until the liquid picks up the desired amount of smoke. Remove from grill and place in the fridge to cool.

When the mixture has cooled, place it in a large pitcher. Add sliced apples, limes, cinnamon sticks, and ice to the pitcher.
