This burger is STOUT. We're "Dublin" the flavor with this juicy burger. These beef patties are mixed with Guinness beer, smoked, smothered with melty cheese and topped with all the fixin's.

1/2 Cup | Guinness Extra Stout |
4 Teaspoon | kosher salt |
4 Teaspoon | coarse ground black pepper, divided |
4 Slices | pepper jack cheese |

Mix the ground chuck and the beer and shape into four patties.

Sprinkle with salt and pepper generously over both sides of the patties.

When ready to cook, set temperature to 180℉ and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.

Place burgers directly on the grill grate and smoke for 15 minutes.

Turn the grill temperature up to 450℉ and cook the burgers for 7 minutes.

Flip the burgers and place the cheese on the patties.

Continue to cook until the internal temperature reaches 160℉.
