Get the wine out and get fancy with this dish. Fresh mussels are cooked in a white wine lemon butter sauce and served family style with country-style french bread.

When ready to cook, start the Traeger grill and set the temperature to 375 degrees F (190 C). Preheat lid closed, 10-15 minutes.

Scrub mussels well in running water making sure to remove all dirt and barnacles.

Place clean mussels in a large bowl with 5 quarts (5 L) water and 1/3 cup (91 g) of salt for about 15 minutes.

Drain, rinse and repeat soaking method two more times to purge and remove all sand.

Melt butter in a saute pan over medium high heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Add wine and bring to a simmer. Add mussels and lemon juice to the pan and toss to coat.

Cover with a tight fitting lid and transfer to the grill. Let the mussels steam 8-10 minutes. Remove from the grill and discard any unopened mussels.

Sprinkle with chopped parsley and transfer to a serving dish. Serve with sliced bread. Enjoy!
