Bacon like you've never had it - soaked in Tennessee's pride and joy, then dredged in a sweet-savory flour mixture, and baked on the Traeger.

1 Pound | country-style bacon |
1 Tablespoon | |
1 Cup | Tennessee whiskey, such as Jack Daniel's or apple juice |
3/4 Cup | all-purpose flour |
1/3 Cup | brown sugar |
1 Teaspoon | freshly ground black pepper |
Step 1
Separate the bacon slices and place them into a large resealable bag.
1 Pound country-style bacon
Step 2
Stir the Traeger Pork & Poultry Rub into the whiskey (or apple juice). Pour the whiskey over the bacon, massaging the bag to coat all the slices.
1 Tablespoon Traeger Pork & Poultry Rub
1 Cup Tennessee whiskey, such as Jack Daniel's or apple juice
Step 3
Set aside for at least 30 minutes.
Step 4
On a piece of wax paper, sift together the flour, brown sugar and black pepper. Transfer to a second resealable bag.
3/4 Cup all-purpose flour
1/3 Cup brown sugar
1 Teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Step 5
Drain the bacon and add to the flour mixture a few slices at a time.
Step 6
Shake the bag to coat each piece evenly, then arrange in a single layer on a baking pan.
Step 7
When ready to cook, set Traeger temperature to 375°F and preheat with the lid closed for 15 minutes.

Step 8
Bake the bacon until it is golden brown and crisp, about 20 to 25 minutes. Enjoy!
