Out with the old, and in with this new Traeger take on an Old-Fashioned. Smoked simple syrup, bourbon and bitters are served on the rocks and given a smoky finish with grilled orange and lemon peels.

1 Whole | orange peel |
1 Whole | lemon peel |
1 1/2 Ounce | bourbon |
1/2 Ounce | smoked simple syrup (homemade or store-bought) |
3 Dash | Bitters Lab Charred Cedar & Currant Bitters |

When ready to cook, set Traeger to 350°F and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.

Place the lemon and orange peel directly on the grill grate and cook 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned.

Add bourbon, Traeger Smoked Simple Syrup, and bitters to a mixing glass and stir over ice. Stir until glass is chilled and contents are well diluted.

Strain into a new glass over fresh ice and garnish with grilled lemon and orange peel. Enjoy!
