Pair this German frankfurter with your favorite German beer and sink your teeth into this tangy dog. This dog is grilled, loaded with a homemade sauerkraut, slathered with whole grain mustard and topped with bacon for a perfectly balanced bite.

  • Step 1

    When ready to cook, set the Traeger temperature to 450° and preheat with the lid closed for 15 minutes.

  • Step 2

    Place the bacon and franks directly on the grill grates. Close the lid and cook until the bacon is crisp and franks are lightly browned and heated through, 10-15 minutes.

  • Step 3

    Remove the bacon and franks from the grill and roughly chop the bacon. To serve, place each frank in a bun, then top with crumbled bacon and sauerkraut. Enjoy!
