Ingredients
main
8 chicken drumsticks
2 TablespoonTraeger Chicken Rub
1/2 CupTraeger 'Que BBQ Sauce
    Steps
  • 1

Season the drumstick with Traeger Chicken Rub, then let sit for 20 minutes.

  • 2

When ready to cook, set the Traeger temperature to 275°F and preheat with the lid closed for 15 minutes.

  • 3

Hang the drumsticks on the chicken leg hanger and set on the grill (alternatively, place directly on the grill grates). Close the lid and cook for 1 hour, flipping halfway through if the drumsticks are not hanging.

  • 4

Transfer the drumsticks to a pan. Cover the pan with foil and place on the grill grates. Close the lid and cook until the internal temperature reaches 190°F, about 45 minutes more.

  • 5

Remove the foil and pour the Traeger 'Que BBQ Sauce over the drumsticks, turning to coat. Close the grill lid and cook until the sauce sets, about 15 minutes.

  • 6

Remove the drumsticks from the grill and let rest for 15 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
