Our homemade Alfredo sauce is simple to make yet tastes rich & smoky. It’s not just for pasta, it’s amazingly heaped over smoked steak or grilled chicken.

1 Stick | butter |
1 | Parmesan Cheese, block |
1 Sprig | fresh sage |
2 Pinch | Nutmeg |

When ready to cook, set temperature to 180℉ and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.

Pour the cream into a saucepan along with the butter and place on the Traeger grill grate to smoke along with the parmesan cheese.

Smoke for 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on how much smoke flavor you want. Turn the heat on the Traeger up to 300℉.

Shred the parmesan cheese and add it and the sage sprig into the pan with the cream and butter.

Whisk until the cheese has all melted and season to taste with the salt and pepper and a pinch or two of the ground nutmeg.

While warm, pour this sauce on anything. Enjoy!
