Baked Yorkshire Pudding

These Yorkshire pudding popovers are a must with any Holiday roast. For added flavor, use the rendered fat drippings from a prime rib, or any beef roast instead of canola oil.

Ingredients

3 Largeeggs
1 Cupmilk
3/4 Cupall-purpose flour
1/4 TeaspoonSalt
1/4 Cupvegetable oil

Steps

  • Step 1

    Place eggs in a medium bowl and whisk well. Add milk, flour and salt and whisk until smooth. Set aside and rest for at least 30 minutes

    Ingredients
    • 3 Large eggs

    • 1 Cup milk

    • 3/4 Cup all-purpose flour

    • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt

  • Step 2

    When ready to cook, set temperature to High and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes. Place a muffin tin directly on the grill grate while the grill preheats.

  • Step 3

    When the muffin tin is hot, pour 1 tsp rendered fat or oil into each muffin. Close the lid to the grill and preheat 15 minutes more.

    Ingredients
    • 1/4 Cup vegetable oil

  • Step 4

    When the oil is hot, place the batter into a pitcher with a spout. Pour 1/4 cup of the batter into each muffin cup and close the lid. Cook the pudding for 15 minutes or until the batter has risen and is lightly browned.

  • Step 5

    Remove from the grill and serve immediately. Enjoy!
