Made with whiskey instead of gin, the John Collins is a smoky, full-bodied twist on the classic Tom Collins. Made with Whistlepig SmokeStock Whiskey and Traeger's Smoked Simple Syrup and lightened up with lemon and soda water, each sip will leave you wanting more.

2 Ounce | Whistlepig SmokeStock Whiskey |
3/4 Ounce | smoked simple syrup (homemade or store-bought) |
1 Ounce | lemon juice |
ice, for shaking and serving | |
4 Ounce | soda water |
1 | lemon wheel, for garnish |
1 | maraschino cherry, for garnish |
Step 1
Add the WhistlePig Whiskey, Traeger Smoked Simple Syrup, lemon juice, and ice to a cocktail shaker. Shake until the outside of the shaker is chilled.
2 Ounce Whistlepig SmokeStock Whiskey
3/4 Ounce smoked simple syrup (homemade or store-bought)
1 Ounce lemon juice
ice, for shaking and serving
Step 2
Place a Hawthorne strainer over the shaker, then pour the cocktail into a highball glass over fresh ice. Top with the soda water.
4 Ounce soda water
Step 3
Garnish with the lemon wheel and maraschino cherry. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
