You'll go nuts for these sweet and spicy cashews. Red pepper chili flakes, fresh rosemary, and our Traeger Smoked Simple Syrup make for a sweet snack.

1 Tablespoon | smoked simple syrup (homemade or store-bought) |
1 | lemon, zested |
1/2 Tablespoon | fresh chopped rosemary |
1 Teaspoon | red pepper flakes |
1/4 Teaspoon | cayenne powder |
1 Pound | cashews |
Step 1
When ready to cook, set Traeger temperature to 225℉ and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes. For optimal flavor, use Super Smoke if available.

In a small bowl, combine sambal oelek, simple syrup, lemon zest, rosemary, red pepper flakes and cayenne. Pour mixture over cashews and toss to coat.

1 Tablespoon smoked simple syrup (homemade or store-bought)
1 lemon, zested
1/2 Tablespoon fresh chopped rosemary
1 Teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 Teaspoon cayenne powder
1 Pound cashews
Step 3
Spread cashews out on a sheet tray and place directly on the grill grate. Cook nuts for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
