Harvest up the good times with Traeger’s Old Orchard Cocktail. Fresh apple slices are coated in cinnamon and sugar grilled directly on your Traeger and paired with whiskey, Smoked Simple Syrup, lemon juice and hard apple cider.

1 Tablespoon | granulated sugar |
1/2 Teaspoon | cinnamon |
1 1/2 Ounce | rye whiskey |
3/4 Ounce | smoked simple syrup (homemade or store-bought) |
1/2 Ounce | Fresh lemon juice |
2 Ounce | Angry Orchard Hard Cider |
Step 1
When ready to cook, set Traeger temperature to 500℉ and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.

Step 2
Toss apple slices in granulated sugar and cinnamon.

1 Tablespoon granulated sugar
1/2 Teaspoon cinnamon
Step 3
Place apple slices directly on the grill grate and cook for 20-25 minutes. Remove from heat and cool.

Step 4
In a shaker, combine the whiskey, Traeger Smoked Simple Syrup, and fresh lemon juice.
1 1/2 Ounce rye whiskey
3/4 Ounce smoked simple syrup (homemade or store-bought)
1/2 Ounce Fresh lemon juice
Step 5
Add ice and shake for 15 seconds to blend flavors.
Step 6
Strain over clean ice into beer glass and top off with Angry Orchard Cider.

Garnish with a baked apple-cinnamon slice. Enjoy!
