BBQ Chicken Breasts

Our Sweet & Heat BBQ Sauce doubles as a marinade, making this dish about as easy as it gets. Make it for a quick and delicious weeknight meal.

Ingredients

6 boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 1/2 Cup
As Neededsalt and pepper
1 Tablespoonchopped parsley, for garnish

Steps

  • Step 1

    Place chicken breasts and 1 cup of Traeger Sweet & Heat BBQ Sauce in a resealable bag or large bowl, and gently turn to cover chicken evenly in the sauce. Marinate in the refrigerator overnight.

    When ready to cook, set Traeger temperature to 450℉ and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.

  • Step 3

    Remove chicken from marinade and season with salt and pepper. Holding a leave-in meat thermometer parallel to your work surface, insert it into the middle of the thickest part of the thickest chicken breast.

    Place chicken directly on the grill grate and cook for 10 minutes on each side flipping once or until internal temperature reaches 150℉.

  • Step 5

    Brush on remaining 1/2 cup of Traeger Sweet & Heat BBQ Sauce while chicken is still on the grill, and continue to cook 5 to 10 minutes longer or until a finished internal temperature of 165℉.

    165 ˚F / 74 ˚C

  • Step 6

    Remove chicken from grill and let rest 5 minutes before serving. Sprinkle with chopped parsley. Enjoy!
