Beef jerky is the perfect protein to eat while hiking or watching the game. This teriyaki meat snack is chewy, smoky, and brings all the flavor to the yard.

2 Cup | brown sugar |
3 Clove | garlic |
1 Pieces | Ginger Knob, 2", peeled & chopped |
1 Tablespoon | sesame oil |
4 Pound | skirt steak |

Place all ingredients except for steak in a blender or food processor and mix well.

Trim all the excess fat from the steak then slice, with the grain, into 1/4-inch thick slices. Combine marinade and steak in a large zip lock bag. Place bag in a bowl and refrigerate for at least 12 or up to 24 hours.

When ready to cook, set the temperature to Smoke and preheat for 5 minutes. *If using a Timberline grill, set temperature to 160 degrees F and press Super Smoke. Place steak slices on grill leaving a small gap in between each slice. Cook for 5 hours.

Remove jerky from grill. Enjoy warm or cooled to room temperature.
