Roasted chicken is amazing in chicken salad, doused with Traeger BBQ sauce it sizzles with flavor for a filling feast.

As Needed | burger buns |
1/4 Cup | celery, finely chopped |
1/4 Cup | green onion, thinly sliced |
1/4 Cup | coarsely chopped pecans |
1/2 Cup | mayonnaise |
1/2 Cup | Traeger Sweet & Heat BBQ Sauce |
1 Teaspoon | salt |
1 Teaspoon | ground black pepper |
1 Teaspoon | garlic powder |

When ready to cook, start your Traeger and set the temperature to 500F and preheat, lid closed, for 10-15 minutes.

Lightly season chicken with Traeger Chicken Rub.

Tuck in the wings and tie legs together with cooking twine (optional).

Place chicken on the Traeger grill until internal temperature reaches 165 - cook time is roughly 1 hour and 10 minutes.

Remove from grill and let cool. Once the chicken has cooled, pull and shred the chicken in a large bowl.

Combine shredded chicken with the remaining ingredients. Serve on a bun. Enjoy!
