Rinse the plums, halve and pit them.

When ready to cook, set temperature to High (450+) and preheat for 15 minutes.

Cook the plums, cut-side down on the grill grate for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile start reducing the balsamic vinegar by cooking it in a pot over medium heat with the brown sugar until thickened and reduced by half, about 5-10 minutes.

Turn the plums over and brush with the balsamic and brown sugar reduction and cook for about 2 to 5 minutes more. Plums should soften but still be slightly firm.

Drizzle the plums with any excess balsamic reduction and serve warm. Enjoy!
