Max Borthwick’s passion for cooking was inspired by his mother Toi’s authentic Thai food, which she learned from her parents, growing up in Northeast Thailand. While in the kitchen together, Toi would share her recipes, stories, and cultural history with her son and daughter - continuing that tradition to this day with her granddaughter.
Wood. Meat. Fire. Traeger Pro Team member Matt Pittman’s motto is simple. He’s spreading the good word of BBQ across the country with his Meat Church brand, slinging seasonings and teaching classes using his Traeger grill. National BBQ month is here and we can’t think of a better way to kick it off than by giving a proper introduction to this Central Texas BBQ master.
For Chef Eduardo Garcia, food is more than just for survival—it’s meant to be shared. His experience with food and cooking has taken him to remote corners of the world, has served as a way to connect with others in a meaningful way, and has even been a way to heal himself in the face of tragedy.
There’s nothing more meaningful than sourcing your food straight from the field and no one understands that better than professional archer, passionate bowhunter and wild-game enthusiast, John Dudley. His passion for hunting and wood-fired flavor runs deep.
It’s safe to say that Tim Hollingsworth knows a thing or two about great flavor. He worked for over a decade at Thomas Keller’s world-renowned The French Laundry in Napa Valley before opening his own acclaimed LA-based restaurant, Otium, as well as several other restaurants. He is also a James Beard award-winning chef and winner of Netflix’s The Final Table.
