It's Oktoberfest season, celebrate with a cold beer and some applewood schnitzel. These breaded cutlets are packed with perfect flavor, baked over apple hardwood and topped with grilled citrus.

1 Teaspoon | paprika |
2 | eggs |
1 Cup | panko breadcrumbs |
1/2 Cup | flour |
2 Whole | lemon, halved |

When ready to cook, set temperature to High and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.

Place pork chops individually between 2 pieces of plastic wrap. Pound with a meat mallet until they are around 1/4 to 1/8” thick. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.

Mix the garlic powder and paprika in a bowl. In another bowl whisk the eggs. In a third bowl add the breadcrumbs.

Dip pork cutlets one by one into flour shaking off any excess, then into eggs and then into the breadcrumbs. Place breaded pork cutlets onto a lightly oiled wire rack over a baking sheet.

Cook for 15 minutes then flip and bake for another 5 minutes. When you open the grill to flip pork, place sliced lemons directly on grill grate flesh side down.

Remove from grill and serve immediately with grilled lemons. Enjoy!
