Charred Citrus and Grape Sangria

1/2 Cup water
1/2 Cup sugar
3 Cup red grapes
2 Orange slices
2 lemon, thinly sliced
4 Ounce brandy
4 Ounce simple syrup
2 Bottle Rose

Step

    Combine equal amounts of sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir periodically until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and cool completely.

    When ready to grill, set temperature to High and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.

    Place the grapes in a grill basket or mesh tray. Grill on high until they start to burst (6-8 minutes). Transfer to a tray and cool completely.

    Meanwhile, place all the citrus on the front and back of the Traeger until a good char has been achieved.

    In a large pitcher, mix the wine, brandy, and simple syrup with the grilled fruit. Stir. Refrigerate until sangria is chilled and the flavors have blended, at least 1 hour. Serve over ice. Enjoy!
