1 Tablespoon | Cajun Rub |

Combine the almonds and 1 tablespoon of the olive oil in a mixing bowl and stir until the nuts are coated. Add more oil if needed.

Sprinkle lightly with the Cajun Rub and sugar, if using, and stir until the almonds are evenly coated. Tip onto a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.

When ready to cook, start the Traeger grill and set the temperature to 300F and preheat, lid closed, for 10 to 15 minutes.

Roast the nuts, stirring occasionally, for about 30 minutes. Let cool, and then transfer to a container with a tight-fitting lid if not serving immediately.
