3 Poundground beef brisket
1 MediumRed Onion, Sliced 1/4" Thick
6 Slicescheddar cheese
12 SlicesBacon, cooked
3 WholeBurger Buns, Halved

  • Step 1

    When ready to cook, set the Traeger to 375℉ and preheat for 15 minutes. Form meat into 6 patties and season with Traeger Beef Rub.

    • 3 Pound ground beef brisket

  • Step 2

    Place them directly on the grill grate and cook for 4 minutes, flip patties and cook for 2 more minutes.

  • Step 3

    Place the red onions on the grill next to the burger and cook for 8 minutes total, flipping halfway through.

    • 1 Medium Red Onion, Sliced 1/4" Thick

  • Step 4

    Top burgers with cheese and cook until cheese is melted, about 1–2 minutes. Remove burgers from grill and keep warm.

    • 6 Slices cheddar cheese

  • Step 5

    If desired, toast burger buns face side down on the grill for 2 minutes. Assemble as double burgers with the grilled onions, bacon, and Traeger Sweet & Heat BBQ sauce. Enjoy! *Cook times will vary depending on set and ambient temperatures.
